We are located above the Gallatin River 6 miles north of the entry to Big Sky, close enough that we generally come home for lunch when we are skiing.

The house has 5 bedrooms:

Loft Master suite: King
Main floor: Bedroom # 1 Queen
Bedroom # 2 Queen with single sleeper sofa
Lower Floor: Bunk room for 4
Bedroom: Full Bed

In addition, there is an efficiency apartment over the adjacent garage with a Queen bed and a Queen sleeper sofa. We also have a fold-up crib, and two air mattresses for those really big family reunions!

Our hot tub is outside on the lower deck, and is perfect after a hard day on the slopes or hiking the local trails. Our rec. room has a pool table, fooseball, darts, chess, and other board games, as well as a reading and video library.

The kitchen is fully equipped and the porch has a grill for the catch of the day. We back up to national forest, so there won't be anyone to disturb your solitude, and chances are good you will see a moose or other wildlife from the porch.

Flying?

Bozeman ~ 30 miles away has a major airport.

Alternatively, you can fly into Salt Lake City for less airfare and drive ~ 6 hours through beautiful Utah, Idaho and West Yellowstone. The only problem we ever have is leaving and coming back to real life!

If you desire information on local events, and music at local establishments during your stay, please contact the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce at 406-995-3000, or 1-800-943-4111. They may be reached by e-mail at info@bigskychamber.com, or on the web at www.bigskychamber.com. Links to the ski resorts are available on the chamber site.

We highly recommend a four wheel drive vehicle for driving at any time of the year.  the weather in the mountains can change suddenly, and can be severe.  Our driveway is steep, and can be slippery when there is snow and ice on the ground.  Remember that Mother Nature is beyond our control, and safety is foremost!  Also remember that there are bears, mountain lions, and other wild animals in the area.  Use common sense in all of your activities, and enjoy the magnificent setting and beautiful surroundings responsibly and safely.
